Modified System Requirements for DocuWare Version 7.12


In comparison to DocuWare version 7.11, the system requirements have been updated as follows:


General System Requirements

  • Windows Server 2025 (64-bit): Now supported as an operating system for both server and client computers.


Changes for On-Premises Systems

  • MySQL Databases Below Version 8.0: No longer supported, as these versions have reached their end-of-life according to MySQL's official support policy. This change affects the DocuWare "Internal Database V2."

  • Action Required: Please upgrade to "Internal Database V3" before updating your DocuWare system to version 7.12 to ensure compatibility and continued support.

  • Direct Upgrade Path: Upgrading directly to DocuWare version 7.12 is supported from version 7.7 or higher. If you are running a version earlier than 7.7, please upgrade to at least version 7.7 before proceeding to 7.12.
